Yep, this puppy is now the largest microSD card in the world.
A 12GB microSDHC is ideal for storing large quantities of music, photos and video. For example, it will be able to store a combination of 1,500 songs, 3,600 photos and 24.5 hours of video.
Holy crap that’s a lot of storage for a PSP or Cellphone!

Sony announced today at CES that this will be possible in the future.
Sony today demonstrated the next level of disc copying. At the company’s booth at CES, Sony demonstrated how you could put a Blu-ray Disc movie into a Playstation 3 and copy the film to a Playstation Portable or a Memory Stick. “This way, you can have a portable copy you can take with you,” explains David Bishop, president of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Unfortunately it will only be supported by Blu-Ray 2.0 discs and it will have to be turned on by the studios who press the discs. Also the transfer process will decrease the resolution to shrink the file size. In any case it’s quite a cool feature I’m definitely looking forward to.

Skype is coming to the PSP in late January in Japan and along with it will be a much needed USB Microphone peripheral. The price has been determined to be around ~$40 for the two pack and ~$25 for just the Mic which can also be used with the language software known as “Talkman.” The first screens of Skype in the PSP XMB are shown below.

1800mAh Self-Recharging Solar Battery USB Charger for PSP 1000/2000 is the full description. It obviously straps to the back, plugs into the USB slot, and then eats up the sun!

.
“The feature’s listed on Sony’s CES site, along with internet radio and a few other features we already know about, like Remote Play. So it’s not a matter of whether the PSP will grab Skype, it’s a matter of when the firmware update will be released.”
